Christmas at this hotel was amazing. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home the entire time. They offered a complimentary breakfast and hot cocoa, which was perfect for the chilly mornings. The location was convenient as it was close to a convenience store and a supermarket where we could buy snacks and drinks. the hotel was just a short walk from a famous temple, which allowed us to witness beautiful religious celebrations. The rooms were cozy and very clean, and the bathroom facilities were adequate. Great value for the price.
Although the hotel provided clean towels every day, they did not have enough hangers in the room to hang our clothes. The noise from the street could be heard, especially at night, which caused some disturbance during our sleep.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the water pressure in the shower and the beautiful view from the big window. the beds and pillows were very comfortable, which was great after a long day exploring the city. the location was convenient, with downtown just 15 minutes away, and there was a convenient store right underneath. Lastly, the shared kitchenette/sitting area was beautiful and modern.

Modern and spotless hostel. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location for Kyoto and Toji stations. Fantastic view from upgraded room. Superbly comfortable room with great sleep. Excellent hospitality

Great location next to a beautiful temple, close to a JR stop, not far from downtown. Staff was friendly, and amenities were excellent. The hostel is new, modern, and most importantly, spotless.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a private room with bunk beds at The Garden-Hotel Premium To-Ji. The room was clean and tidy, with proper wet room facilities. The air conditioning and wifi worked well, and there was even a TV in the room. The location was great, just a short walk to Toji station and opposite Toji shrine. Plus, there was a mini mart right underneath the hostel. I would recommend this hotel.
